It was just a well-suited match for a weekend getaway with attractive and competitive value for money. My kids particularly loved the small adventure playground and enjoyed spotting the ducks. Make sure to pre-book dinner as places fill up quickly.

We visited during a family celebration and found the riding stables and laser tag to be fantastic entertainment for the kids. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the scrumptious soda bread, but we did have a long wait for our main meals. it was a nice getaway despite a few hiccups with service timing.

Housekeeping was lacking during our stay.

The riding stables on site offer a fun experience for families, allowing kids to engage with horses. The indoor swimming pool is well-maintained and provides ample space for relaxation and activity, making it a highlight of the stay.
Temperature control in the rooms can be a challenge. one guest reported discomfort at night due to inadequate cooling options in their room, impacting their overall comfort. the dining options become limited during busy periods, leading to long wait times and difficulty securing reservations for meals.

Recommend it for families with kids
We had a great time with the kids, they loved the activities like clay pigeon shooting and ziplining, it was thrilling to see their excitement. the staff were really attentive, especially at the Brasserie, where we enjoyed smooth service and delicious food.
It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable considering the memorable experiences we had.

Nice hotel with its free wi-fi, indoor swimming pool, and friendly staff. They once helped me with a currency exchange on my first stay, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend it for a fun getaway!

Our room was on the third floor, which was a pain because the lift only goes to the second. Had to drag our bags up two flights of stairs. The room itself was pretty compact and had this weird sloping ceiling that made us bump our heads. Plus, we had scaffolding outside with workmen making noise on our last morning, and then there was a leak onto one of the beds. Not cool.

We had a lovely time enjoying the beautiful pool and the relaxing spa treatments during our stay. It was great to unwind at the indoor pool after our busy days. The only downside was dining took a bit longer than expected, but it didn’t ruin our overall experience! 😊

The location of Crieff Hydro is stunning, offering beautiful views and a serene atmosphere. My room felt spacious and comfortable with plenty of amenities. I enjoyed the meals at The Meikle restaurant. the food tasted fantastic and was well presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure my visit was enjoyable. I loved the Victorian baths. they provided a peaceful retreat after a day of activities. there were issues to note. Check-in took longer than expected, with rooms not ready until 5 PM. The children’s dinner options seemed limited, making it difficult for picky eaters. I found the evening entertainment was lacking. some planned activities didn’t happen, which left a gap in our night. I had to wait quite a long time for meals during dinner. our main courses took over an hour to arrive. A tighter schedule could improve this. the experience was good, but with a few tweaks, it could be excellent.

The dining experience was unforgettable, especially the scrumptious Irish soda bread that made me swoon! The food at The Terrace was fantastic, and the staff were fabulous. The Victorian Baths? Absolutely amazing!
We felt let down by the long wait for our mains—1hr 35mins is a bit much, and then they charged me twice for the room! Sorting that out was a nightmare, especially for those who may struggle with funds.
